What makes our French beds so special?

We worked incredibly hard to create reproduction French beds that look authentic but without all the creaks of an original. The only way to get it absolutely right was to copy the traditional methods used to make beds centuries ago before the age of machines. 

So we took a beautiful antique French bed to the graduates of a professional woodcarving school and watched them work their magic. After days of whittling away by hand at chunks of lovely weathered oak, our first bed was born: absolutely gorgeous, solidly built and a far cry from much of the tat available on the high street and Internet.

So which one should I go for?

If you want to make more of a statement with your bedroom furniture then go for one of our Louis French style beds, which are slightly more ornate than a conventional bed.
