Want a hand-welded metal bed?
We've worked hard to ensure that all our metal beds are vastly superior to those tinny numbers you see all over the web and high street for, say. £199. The secret is to follow the traditional method of making these beds which requires an ability to cast knuckles and mouldings and then hand weld everything together. There are sadly very few places in the world that still do this, but we found one such gem in the far south-west of England. Picture an old Victorian-style factory, long before the conveyor belt had been invented, with chirpy chappies with welding masks and blow torches: that's how our metal beds are made!
