There's a mysterious storage bed thing going on in the UK
Given that we sell beds all day (and all night too thanks to the interweb), we should know, from looking at how popular our storage beds are, just how much space the majority of you out there have in your bedrooms. But the strange thing is that although we sell loads of double and kingsize storage beds, we also sell an awful lot of superking beds without any storage at all. In other words, there seems to be an equal number of you with space restraints as there are people with more than enough room to stretch out in our biggest size bed.
Most bed companies will tell you that double and kingsize storage beds make up the majority of sales. Presumably as most people's bedrooms are on the small side. So could it be that our typical customers buck the trend? Could it be that they all live in massive houses and only go for single beds with storage for their children, and double and king storage beds for their guest rooms?
We don't think so, as talking to our lovely customers all day it seems something else is going on. We reckon that most of you have modest bedrooms but you'd rather sacrifice space around your bed than have a smaller bed. So you're going for as big a bed as possible – which makes sense given that you'll spend about a third of your life in it!
