Head of Performance Marketing

We are looking for a Head of Performance Marketing to own, develop and deliver all aspects of our customer acquisition and retention marketing. You'll need to maximise the performance of our paid marketing channels to help grow our business even faster over the next few years.

At Loaf we make insanely comfy sofas, beds and homewares that help people lead more comfortable lives. Founded in 2008, Loaf has steadily grown each year to become one of the leading premium furniture and homeware brands in the UK. We now have over 200 Loafers working across 10 Slowrooms (our stores), a Head office in West London and our conversation centre in the Midlands. It's exciting times at Loaf as we continually grow and evolve the brand and business. From expanding our product range to opening more stores, and continuing investment across marketing channels - we're an ambitious business.

The job
  • Strategy: Establish the performance marketing strategy for all customer acquisition and retention - setting the strategic direction to deliver 5-year customer plan and sales growth objectives across all marketing channels.

  • Media plans: Work with our media agency to devise brand-building above-the-line media plans across TV, print and out-of-home - as well as in house performance marketing gurus to deliver strong sales from our performance channels (Paid/Organic Search, Social, Direct Mail and Email).

  • Budgets: Oversee the Marketing budget across channels - ensuring the team is well set up to achieve targets.

  • Reporting: be responsible for creating reports and provide analysis around ROI, campaign performance, conversion patterns and website traffic to help optimise all campaigns.

  • Performance Analysis: analyse performance and understand the details and effectiveness of each campaign and adopt a continual test and learn approach to all performance marketing activities.

  • Continual improvement: Maintain a strong focus on continual improvement in customer acquisition, customer retention and ROAS - by foster a culture of on-going optimisations of CPCs, conversion and marketing channel mix.

Leadership and collaboration
  • Lead, motivate and grow your team, setting clear objectives and priorities, talent review, Learning & Development plans and success planning.
  • Collaborate and facilitate strong relationships across the business and support your team in building effective collaboration across the business and with key cross-functional business partners (such as creative, website, stores and product), to ensure there is good understanding and alignment with Marketing's strategy, KPIs and results.
We're looking for ....
  • Deep expertise, knowledge and understanding of customer acquisition and retention through performance marketing, ideally gained form high-growth, multi-channel retail businesses in the Premium/ Luxury sector.

  • A proven record of managing multi-£Ms performance marketing budgets. Commercial savvy and results driven.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills and experience to lead high performing team, harness and build relationships with 3rd parties and working collaboratively across an organisation.

  • Very organised with an ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

  • A critical thinker and agile mindset to make sure we keep moving forward and innovating in this area.
